- 1 kg apricots
- 600 g sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon lemon juice
Method
- Wash the apricots and drain well, then remove the pits.
- Soak the apricots with the sugar and lemon juice for about 4 hours. After that time, put the apricots in a pot over the heat... when the mixture boils, simmer over medium heat for about one hour...Timers: 240 min
- Once the apricot jam has cooled, pour it into airtight glass jars.
- The jam stays good for a long time... store it in the refrigerator after opening...
