  • Caramel:
  • 2 cups sugar
  • Custard:
  • 4 eggs, beaten
  • 2 1/2 cups powdered milk
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 cups water
  • 1 teaspoon
  • lemon zest
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • The cake:
  • 3 eggs
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 1/2 cup liquid milk
  • 3 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • a pinch of vanilla

Method

  1. Melt the sugar until it turns brown and pour it into the cake pan, then set it aside. Start preparing the custard: whisk the eggs with the powdered milk, water, and sugar... Pour the custard over the pan with the caramel.
  2. Leave the pan in the fridge for 15 minutes, then start preparing the cake.

  3. Whisk the eggs with the sugar well, then add the oil, milk, cocoa, flour, baking powder, and vanilla.
  4. Pour the batter over the custard and place the pan in another tray filled with water. Bake in a preheated oven for about 50 minutes.

  5. When Qudra Qadir cake comes out of the oven, let it cool, then refrigerate it overnight.
