How to Make Muhallabia Cheesecake
A wonderful recipe that combines the delicious, popular cheesecake with the widely loved muhallabia. You can make the cheesecake with a biscuit-and-butter layer or prepare a special base, detailed in the recipe below.

- 3 cups milk
- 2 cups liquid cream
- 7 tablespoons cornstarch
- 8 tablespoons sugar, or to taste
- 1 tablespoon orange blossom water
- 1 teaspoon rose water
- Cheesecake Base:
- 1/2 cup liquid milk
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup sugar, 1 and 3/4 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- A pinch of salt
- 1 egg
- How to Prepare the Cheesecake Base:
- Sift the flour, baking powder, and salt, then add them to the mixture slowly and gradually in two stages, while continuing to whisk.
Method
- We start by preparing the first layer. Crush the biscuits with the butter and set aside. Then prepare the second layer. Mix all the ingredients except the orange blossom water and rose water.
- Place the mixture over low heat and keep stirring until it thickens, then add the orange blossom water and rose water. Turn off the heat and pour the muhallabia mixture over the biscuit layer.
- Leave the two layers aside until they cool well, then prepare the third layer.
- Mix 1 cup jelly or Jell-O with 3 cups boiling water.
- Mix well, then pour over the second layer.
- You can decorate the muhallabia cheesecake mold as desired.
- Note: The first layer of biscuits and butter can be replaced with a homemade base. *
- Bake the cheesecake base at 180 degrees for only 10 minutes so it does not become hard.Timers: 10 min
