Chicken Burger Recipe
A crowd-pleasing homemade chicken burger recipe for adults and kids. Serve chicken burgers with french fries and coleslaw for a complete meal.
Ingredients

- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon ground coriander
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/4 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon chicken curry powder
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 1/2 cup fresh parsley
- 1 medium head of lettuce
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons ketchup
- 6 hamburger buns
- 6 slices cheese
- 1 ripe tomato
- 1 tablespoon mustard
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon flour, or breadcrumbs, as desired
Method

- Place the chicken pieces in the blender with the parsley, dried coriander, and dried basil, the salt, black pepper, crushed chili, curry powder, garlic powder, and onion powder, and blend the ingredients on medium speed until a seasoned chicken paste forms.
- Knead the chicken again by hand, and add the flour, or breadcrumbs, until the mixture holds together better as you shape it.
- Shape the mixture into round patties of the desired size, about the size of a hamburger bun.
- Brush the grill pan with a little olive oil, heat it briefly, then place the burger patties on it, until they are browned and cooked on both sides; each patty takes about 5 minutes to cook through.Timers: 5 min
- Spread mayonnaise on the bun halves, place a layer of lettuce, then a slice of tomato, the chicken burger patty, a little ketchup, a slice of cheese, and finally a thin slice of tomato.
- Spread mustard on the second bun, then place it on top of the burger, and toast it lightly.
- Serve the chicken burger with a mix of mayonnaise and ketchup; on the side, mustard sauce and crispy french fries.
