How to Make Lasagna

Lasagna is one of the most famous pasta dishes and one of the most popular, especially among younger people. There are many different ways to prepare lasagna, and we recommend trying this easy recipe.

Ingredients

Start here, then move straight into the method.

  • Lasagna sheets
  • Ground beef
  • Onion, chopped
  • Peeled and crushed tomatoes
  • Meat seasoning
  • Cinnamon
  • Paprika or sweet red bell pepper
  • Ground cumin
  • Salt
  • Tomato paste
  • White sauce (béchamel)
  • Two tablespoons of butter.
  • 4 1/2 tablespoons flour
  • 2 cups liquid milk
  • Salt
  • 1 egg
  • Shredded mozzarella cheese
  • To make the béchamel sauce
  • Melt the butter over low heat, then add the flour, stirring constantly until all the butter is absorbed...
  • In a glass ovenproof dish spread a little béchamel, then place lasagna sheets; spoon more béchamel over them, add the meat mixture, then top with mozzarella. Continue in the same order for two layers (lasagna-bechamel-meat-mozzarella).
  • For the final lasagna layer, spread the remaining béchamel over the top, then place the lasagna dish on the middle oven rack and bake at high temperature for approximately half an hour or more, depending on your oven.
  • Brown the top of the lasagna, sprinkle mozzarella over the top, and brown it as well.

Method

Follow the cooking sequence without leaving the page.

  1. Sauté the onion in a little corn oil until softened, then add the minced meat and stir. Add the spices, stirring until the meat is cooked, then add the mashed tomatoes and the sauce or tomato paste..
  2. Leave the mixture over low heat until well combined
  3. Then add the milk, salt, and keep stirring until the mixture thickens. Set it aside until it cools to room temperature, then add the egg. If the béchamel is too thick, you can add a little water
  4. In a pot, bring water to a boil, then add the lasagna sheets without stirring them for 5 minutes.. Carefully remove them from the water and place them in a colander, then set them aside..

  5. In an oven-safe glass dish, put a little béchamel, then lasagna sheets, then béchamel on top, then the meat mixture, and after that mozzarella cheese. Continue in the same order for two layers (lasagna-béchamel-meat-mozzarella).
  6. For the final lasagna layer, spread the remaining béchamel on top and place the lasagna tray in the middle oven rack at a high temperature for about half an hour, or longer depending on the strength of the oven..
  7. Brown the lasagna from the top, sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top, and brown it as well..
  8. Then add the milk, stirring in the salt. Continue stirring until the mixture thickens, then set it aside to cool to room temperature; once cooled, add the egg. If the béchamel seems too thick you can add a little water. Place a pan of boiling water on the stove, add the lasagna sheets and do not move them for 5 minutes. Carefully remove them from the water, transfer them to a colander, and set aside.
