How to Prepare Grilled and Roasted Chicken
There are many marinades and ways to grill and roast chicken, but this simple and flavorful method is sure to please. Try this technique for grilled and roasted chicken and serve it with rice and salad for lunch or dinner.
Ingredients
Start here, then move straight into the method.
- 1.5 kg chicken thighs, sliced
- Slices of lemon
- Juice of 1 medium lemon
- 3 cloves garlic
- Salt to taste
- Pinch paprika or sweet red pepper
- Pinch garlic powder
- Pinch ground ginger
- Pinch seven-spice
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 cup water
- Potatoes as needed
Method
Follow the cooking sequence without leaving the page.
- Marinate the chicken in the seasoning for at least one hour, and obviously without the potatoes.
- Place the chicken on a tray and bake in a hot oven for about 30 minutes. Baste the chicken with its juices every 15 minutes until browned.Timers: 30 min, 15 min
- Fry the potatoes and add them to the tray and cook for another 30 minutes until the thighs are cooked.Timers: 30 min
- Serve white rice alongside the grilled and roasted chicken.
