Easy Petit Fours

Ingredients

- 3 1/2 cups flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 1/2 cups soft margarine
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- Jam for filling the petit fours
- Desiccated coconut for garnish
Method
Follow the cooking sequence without leaving the page.
- Sift the flour, then add the sugar, vanilla, and baking powder... Knead with the eggs, then add the margarine and knead... Let the dough rest for about a quarter of an hour... Roll the dough out on parchment paper and use cutters to cut and shape....
- Place the petit fours in a preheated oven at 180°C. When the bottoms of the petit fours start to color, remove them from the oven...
- Wait for the petit fours to cool before filling them with jam or chocolate sauce or other fillings as desired... Garnish the petit fours with desiccated coconut and serve...
