Easy Cake Recipe
This homemade easy cake is a successful family recipe! It can be whisked by hand and still turns out well, because the secret to its good rise is using room-temperature eggs rather than an electric mixer. Trust us!
The dry easy cake is one of the tastiest light homemade desserts, especially with a cup of tea! Here is the successful method.
Ingredients
Start here, then move straight into the method.
- 4 eggs, at room temperature
- 3 cups flour
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 cup oil
- 1 cup fresh lemon-orange juice
- 1 tablespoon lemon zest
- 2 tablespoons vinegar
Method
Follow the cooking sequence without leaving the page.
- Beat the eggs well with the lemon zest and vanilla.
- Add the sugar and beat well until it dissolves.
- Then add the juice and oil and beat, then add the vinegar and beat again.
- Finally, add the dry ingredients after sifting them 3 times... Stir until the cake batter is combined without beating.
- Grease the cake pan with tahini and pour in the cake batter, then release the air by tapping the bottom of the pan on a fairly hard surface from all sides.
- Preheat the oven to 180°C and place the pan on the rack. Leave it for 15 minutes at this temperature, then reduce the heat to 160°C and leave it for another 45 to 50 minutes, or as needed depending on your oven, until it is cooked through and browned on top and bottom.Timers: 15 min, 50 min
