Ingredients

- 2 cups broccoli, chopped
- 2 cups Cheddar cheese
- 1 potato, diced
- 2 carrots, chopped
- 1/2 cup celery, chopped
- 1/2 cup peas
- 4 cups chicken stock
- or
- (4 cups water + 2 Maggi chicken stock cubes)
- 1 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon turmeric
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 3 tablespoons flour
- 1 garlic clove, chopped or grated
- 1 small onion, chopped

Method
Follow the cooking sequence without leaving the page.
- Melt the butter in a pot over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic and sauté until the onion softens.
- Add the flour, potato, carrots, celery and diced chicken. Then add the water or stock and the milk and stir well.
- Bring to a boil. When it starts boiling, add the peas.
- Let the ingredients simmer until the vegetables are tender. Then add the broccoli and the cheese and stir until the cheese melts.
- Let the broccoli soup simmer for an additional 5 minutes over medium heat, then remove from heat and serve.Timers: 5 min
