Easy Rice Soup
Rice soup is one of the easiest and simplest soups :) It can be served with all kinds of dishes and will be very well received because it is light. Give it a try.
Rice soup .. very easy and also useful when made with chicken stock
Ingredients
Start here, then move straight into the method.
- 1 liter (4 cups) chicken stock, or 1 liter (4 cups) water with a chicken bouillon cube
- 1 potato, diced
- 1 carrot, chopped
- 1/3 cup Egyptian rice, washed and drained
- Salt
- A squeeze of lemon juice
- A sprinkle of chopped parsley
Method
Follow the cooking sequence without leaving the page.
- Place the stock with the potatoes and carrots in a pot over the heat
- After it comes to a boil, add the rice and adjust the salt (if using a chicken bouillon cube, do not add salt), then lower the heat until the vegetables and rice are cooked through
- Finally, add the parsley and a squeeze of lemon, then let the rice soup boil for two more boils and turn off the heat
