Beef and vegetable soup — very tasty, especially on a cold day.

Ingredients

  • Beef, cut into pieces as desired
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • Hot water
  • Peas
  • Chopped carrots
  • Cauliflower
  • 1 ripe tomato
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • A handful of chopped parsley
  • 1 small Egyptian coffee cup of rice
  • 1 cinnamon stick

Method

  1. Place the beef in a pot over medium heat until it dries slightly and browns a little.
  2. Add the butter and stir, then add hot water and bring to a boil until the beef is about half cooked.
  3. Add the cleaned vegetables, chopped parsley, rice, salt and a cinnamon stick, then simmer the soup over low heat until all ingredients are fully cooked.
  4. Cut green beans
