Sliced beef with vegetables and cheese (or Philadelphia) — a very tasty homemade recipe
Ingredients
- Beef suitable for shawarma, 500 g
- 1 red onion, cut into wedges
- Red and green bell peppers, cut lengthwise
- 100 g mushrooms, sliced
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp mustard
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp sweet spice (mild spice)
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- Mozzarella cheese
- Bread of your choice for the sandwiches
Method
- Place the beef in a skillet or on a grill over heat and stir until excess moisture evaporates.
- Add a little oil and the chopped vegetables, then sauté for 2 minutes.Timers: 2 min
- Add a little soy sauce and mustard and stir, then sprinkle the salt and spices and cook until the beef is done.
- Assemble the sandwiches: divide the beef and vegetable filling among the bread and top each with a little mozzarella.
- Place the sandwiches in a preheated oven for about 5 minutes to melt the cheese, then press the sandwiches and serve.Timers: 5 min
