Sliced beef with vegetables and cheese (or Philadelphia) — a very tasty homemade recipe

Ingredients

  • Beef suitable for shawarma, 500 g
  • 1 red onion, cut into wedges
  • Red and green bell peppers, cut lengthwise
  • 100 g mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp mustard
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp sweet spice (mild spice)
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • Mozzarella cheese
  • Bread of your choice for the sandwiches

Method

  1. Place the beef in a skillet or on a grill over heat and stir until excess moisture evaporates.
  2. Add a little oil and the chopped vegetables, then sauté for 2 minutes.

  3. Add a little soy sauce and mustard and stir, then sprinkle the salt and spices and cook until the beef is done.
  4. Assemble the sandwiches: divide the beef and vegetable filling among the bread and top each with a little mozzarella.
  5. Place the sandwiches in a preheated oven for about 5 minutes to melt the cheese, then press the sandwiches and serve.
