  • Pomegranate seeds
  • Sliced onion
  • Sliced tomato
  • Thyme — optional
  • Walnuts
  • Dressing
  • A pinch of sumac
  • Salt
  • Pomegranate molasses
  • Olive oil
  • Lemon juice

Method

Follow the cooking sequence without leaving the page.

  1. Pick through the arugula leaves, wash them, and drain them well
  2. Place the arugula in a wide serving dish and top with slices of onion and tomato, sprigs of thyme, and pomegranate seeds
  3. Mix or whisk the dressing ingredients in a small bowl, then pour evenly over the salad, add chopped or roughly chopped walnuts, and toss lightly
  4. Serve the arugula salad immediately because arugula leaves wilt quickly
