Honeycomb Chocolate Buns
Honeycomb (beehive) chocolate buns — a delightful pastry shaped like a honeycomb. Fill the dough balls with chocolate, cheese or za'atar and arrange in a pan for a tasty treat or breakfast.

Ingredients

- 3 cups flour
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 3 tablespoons milk powder
- 3 tablespoons yogurt
- 1 tablespoon yeast
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 cup oil
- 1 1/2 cups warm water

Method
Follow the cooking sequence without leaving the page.
- In a large bowl combine the dry ingredients, then add the oil, water and yogurt and knead well until the dough comes together.
- Cover the dough with a kitchen towel and leave in a warm place until it doubles in size — about 30 to 60 minutes.Timers: 60 min
- Shape the dough into small balls and let them rest 5 minutes.Timers: 5 min
- Fill each ball with chocolate and seal.
- Place the stuffed balls in a non-stick baking pan — it’s best to line the pan with parchment paper.
- Arrange the balls close together in the pan.
- Brush the tops with the milk and sugar mixture using a brush.
- Sprinkle sesame on top if desired, then bake in a preheated oven until the buns are light golden and cooked through.
