Honeycomb chocolate buns — a favorite for many thanks to their distinctive shape and delicious flavor

Ingredients:

3 cups flour 3 tablespoons sugar 3 tablespoons milk powder 3 tablespoons yogurt 1 tablespoon yeast 1 teaspoon baking powder 1/4 cup oil 1 1/2 cups warm water For brushing: Liquid milk + 1 tablespoon sugar For garnish: Sesame (optional)

Method:

In a large bowl combine the dry ingredients, then add the oil, water and yogurt and knead well until the dough comes together.
Cover the dough with a kitchen towel and leave in a warm place until it doubles in size — about 30 to 60 minutes.
Shape the dough into small balls and let them rest 5 minutes.
Fill each ball with chocolate and seal.
Place the stuffed balls in a non-stick baking pan — it’s best to line the pan with parchment paper.
Arrange the balls close together in the pan.
Brush the tops with the milk and sugar mixture using a brush.
Sprinkle sesame on top if desired, then bake in a preheated oven until the buns are light golden and cooked through.
