Turkey Stuffing Mix (Celery and Toast)

Ingredients
Start here, then move straight into the method.
- A bunch of celery, washed and diced
- 2 large onions, diced into medium-small cubes
- 1 Maggi chicken stock cube
- 3 or 4 cups water
- Celery seasoning (or celery salt)
- A pinch of seven-spice (baharat)
- Salt — a very small pinch, because both the Maggi cube and the celery seasoning are salty
- Toasted bread pieces or cubes
Method

- Place the diced onion and oil in a pot over medium heat and sauté for 3 minutes, then add the diced celery, seven-spice, celery seasoning, and salt, and stir.Timers: 3 min
- Add the water and the Maggi cube and stir.
- Let them simmer on medium heat for just 10 minutes — enough for them to cook through without the liquid drying up.Timers: 10 min
- At serving time, reheat the celery mix and add the toasted bread pieces, which will soak up the stock. Serve immediately while hot.
