- 3 cups milk
- 1/2 cup cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 tablespoon rose water
- A few mastic beads, crushed with 1 teaspoon sugar

Method
Follow the cooking sequence without leaving the page.
- Put the milk, cornstarch and sugar in a pot and stir well until the starch dissolves.
- Place the mixture over medium heat and stir occasionally.
- When the mixture heats up, add the crushed mastic and continue stirring until the mixture thickens and sets.
- Stir in the rose water until well combined.
- Pour the Haytaliya (Qeshtaliya) into a serving dish, refrigerate for about two hours, and serve chilled with nuts.
