Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 cups fine semolina, also known as chicken flour
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 tablespoon turmeric, or yellow annatto
- 2 cups water
Method
- Mix all the ingredients well together until you are sure the sugar has completely dissolved.
- Grease a medium-sized baking tray with tahini, then pour in the sfoof mixture.
- Place it in the oven on the lower or middle rack, depending on the strength of your oven, and bake for at least 30 minutes at 180°C, or until fully cooked.Timers: 30 min
- Let the sfoof dessert cool before slicing and serving.
