Method
Follow the cooking sequence without leaving the page.
- Mix all the pudding ingredients cold, then place the mixture in a pot over the stove, stirring constantly.
- Continue stirring over medium heat until the chocolate mixture thickens.
- In a serving dish, arrange a layer of biscuits side by side, then pour some of the chocolate mixture to cover the biscuits completely.
- Place another layer of biscuits, then another layer of the chocolate mixture.
- Add sliced banana or other fruit or nuts over the chocolate layer, then add a final layer of biscuits and pour the remaining chocolate mixture on top, smoothing the surface.
- Let the dish cool at room temperature while you prepare the sauce. In a bowl place the chopped chocolate with the butter and the hot milk and stir until the chocolate melts.
- Let the sauce sit for just two minutes to cool slightly, then pour it over the top of the dessert.
- Decorate the chocolate biscuit dessert as desired and refrigerate for a suitable time before serving.
