Ingredients
- Coarsely ground meat (beef or lamb)
- 2 cups long-grain rice
- 1 tablespoon kabsa seasoning
- 1 tablespoon seven-spice blend
- Salt
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 6 cups hot water
- Butter
- Nuts to taste (fried or toasted)

Method
- Sauté the minced meat in the pot until it loses its liquids and changes color, adding the spices while stirring.
- Add the butter and stir until it melts.
- Add the rice and the water and stir lightly only so the rice does not break up.
- When the water boils, reduce the heat and cover the pot.
- Leave the rice with the minced meat on low heat until it cooks through.
- Pour the rice onto a serving plate and garnish with fried or roasted nuts and place the grilled chicken slices on top or beside the rice.
