Strawberry Cheesecake

Ingredients

Start here, then move straight into the method.

  • Base (first layer)
  • 4 packets plain biscuits
  • 100 g butter
  • Second layer
  • 1½ cups whipping cream (or two sachets instant whipping powder)
  • 3 packs cream cheese
  • ¼ cup powdered sugar (only if using liquid cream)
  • Third layer (strawberry sauce)
  • 1 cup fresh or frozen strawberries
  • Sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 sachet strawberry-flavored jelly

Method

Follow the cooking sequence without leaving the page.

  1. In a blender put the crushed biscuits with the melted butter and blend them together.
  2. Press the first layer into the cheesecake pan, then place it in the refrigerator.
  3. Meanwhile prepare the second layer: whip the liquid cream, add the powdered sugar and the cheese, and mix well until smooth.
  4. Spread the cream mixture over the first layer in the pan, then return it to the refrigerator to allow the cream to set well.
  5. Prepare the strawberry sauce: chop the strawberries and put them with the sugar and half a cup of water on the stove to simmer briefly.
  6. After boiling, add a sachet of jelly and stir well to dissolve, then add half a cup of cold water and stir well.
  7. Let the sauce cool, then spread it over the top of the cheesecake.
  8. Serve the strawberry cheesecake cold and set.
