  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup cornstarch
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • less than 1/2 cup liquid milk
  • Caramel filling ingredients and method:

  3. Prick the center of the dough in the molds with a fork, place a sheet of baking paper over it, then add pie weights (or any small dried beans/grains available) to prevent the tarts from puffing.
  4. When all are prepared, put them in a preheated oven at 200°C to bake for about 10 minutes.
    Timers: 10 min
  5. Brown them slightly on top until the dough changes color.
  6. Caramel filling ingredients and method:
  7. One can ready-made qishta (clotted cream).
  8. One can ready-made caramel.
  9. Mix them together, then spread the mixture over the tarts and decorate as desired.
