Chicken Paella
This is one of the well-known and famous Spanish dishes, but through the recipes of "What Are You Cooking Today?" and with pure Eastern touches, it has been turned into a dish that can be prepared in any Arab home, without the need for seafood, which this paella usually relies on.
Vegetable and Chicken Paella:
Ingredients
Start here, then move straight into the method.
- Chicken
- Egyptian rice
- Grated carrot
- Peas
- Corn
- Salt and spices
Method
Follow the cooking sequence without leaving the page.
- Season the chicken breasts with salt, black pepper, and dried thyme.
- Sauté the seasoned chicken breasts in oil and butter until browned, then remove from the heat and set aside.
- Place the grated carrot in the same pan you used to fry the chicken breasts so it picks up some of their flavor.
- Add the peas and corn to the carrot and stir the vegetables for about 2 minutes...Timers: 2 min
- Add the washed Egyptian rice to the vegetables and stir well with a pinch of salt..
- Pour water over the rice and arrange the fried chicken breasts on top of the rice.. Leave the mixture over low heat until cooked.
