- 1 tablespoon butter
- syrup (shira)
- pistachios for garnish
- 4 cups milk
- 3 tablespoons cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- orange blossom water
- rose water
- Custard preparation:

- Take a portion of the strands and stretch them lengthwise on a clean surface.
Method
- Place a small amount of custard in the center of the dough,
- roll it like a rope, then place on a pan greased with a small amount of butter.
- Drizzle melted butter over the top of the kunafa.
- Bake in a hot oven for about 20 minutes until golden.Timers: 20 min
- Pour syrup over the hot kunafa and garnish with pistachios.
- Cook the ingredients over low heat until they thicken and the mixture comes together; add 1 teaspoon orange blossom water and 1 teaspoon rose water.
- Prepare the kunafa threads and keep them long.
