  • Fresh parsley
  • Fresh mint
  • Tomatoes
  • Cucumbers
  • Purslane
  • Garlic clove
  • Small onion
  • Green bell pepper
  • Fried bread
  • Dressing
  • Lemon juice
  • Salt
  • Cumin
  • Olive oil
  • Pomegranate molasses for garnish

Method

Follow the cooking sequence without leaving the page.

  1. Wash the vegetables and let them drain well. Draining the vegetables is essential for preparing a successful and fresh salad.
  2. Coarsely chop the vegetables, except for the purslane, mint, and parsley, which can be picked (leaves only).
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together the dressing ingredients. Then pour over the chopped vegetables and mix.
  4. Fry a loaf of bread cut into medium cubes in hot, deep oil for only a few seconds until golden.
  5. Place the fried bread over the Fattoush vegetables and finally drizzle a little pomegranate molasses on top.
