Rice with Minced Meat and Chicken
Rice with minced meat and chicken is a classic Arabic dish loved by the whole family. Suitable for an everyday family meal or for entertaining guests. Delicious served with yogurt, vermicelli soup, or a salad.

Ingredients
Start here, then move straight into the method.
- 4 chicken thighs
- minced meat
- 5 cups Basmati rice
- seasonings for boiling (bay leaves, cinnamon sticks, cardamom pods, and others as desired)
- rice spices: cinnamon + black pepper + mansaf spice or seven-spice blend
- toppings: nuts such as cashews or almonds
- Preparation
- Clean the chicken, rub it with salt and lemon, then rinse and submerge in water to boil with the seasonings.
- In a second pot heat the oil and fry the nuts until lightly browned, then add the minced meat and cook until done.
- Sprinkle salt and spices and stir, then add the washed and drained rice and mix.

Method
Follow the cooking sequence without leaving the page.
- Add the strained broth from the boiled chicken (discarding the solids) and add water so that the liquid rises about 1 cm above the rice.
- When the broth comes to a boil, reduce the heat and let the rice with minced meat and chicken simmer gently until cooked through.
- Transfer the rice to a serving platter and arrange the chicken pieces on top (you may remove the bones first). Garnish with the fried nuts.
