Chicken with Lemon and Garlic — who doesn’t love lemon and garlic with chicken?

Ingredients

  • Chicken
  • Seasonings for boiling the chicken
  • Potatoes
  • Oil
  • Ghee
  • Crushed garlic
  • Lemon juice
  • Salt
  • A pinch of cinnamon

Method

  1. Boil the chicken with aromatics after skimming off the scum in the first stage.
  2. Fry the potatoes cut into medium pieces (or to your liking) in plenty of oil, then drain them.
  3. Arrange the potatoes in the baking dish.
  4. Brush the surface of the boiled chicken with oil and ghee and brown it in another pan in the oven.
  5. Meanwhile, lightly fry the crushed garlic in ghee, then add a large amount of chicken stock and lemon to taste and let the sauce simmer a little.
  6. Pour the garlic, lemon, and stock sauce over the tray, add a sprinkle of cinnamon, and arrange the browned chicken on top.
  7. Let the lemon-and-garlic chicken tray simmer briefly and serve it.
