Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cups milk
  • 1 cup cream
  • 16 milk biscuits (tea biscuits)
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon custard powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 tablespoon orange blossom water
  • 1 tablespoon rose water
  • Chocolate sauce
  • Nuts: walnuts, almonds, or pistachios
  • Chocolate sauce
  • 1 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 cup corn oil
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon instant coffee

Method

Follow the cooking sequence without leaving the page.

  1. In a pot, heat the milk and cream until warm, then remove from the heat and add the biscuits, stirring until they dissolve.
  2. Add the sugar and stir until it dissolves, then add the custard powder and the cornstarch and stir.
  3. Return the pot to the heat and stir until the mixture thickens.
  4. Add orange blossom water, rose water, and vanilla, and stir.
  5. Remove the pudding mixture from the heat and pour it into a cake mold.
  6. Let the mold cool aside, then refrigerate for six hours.
  7. Garnish the pudding cake with nuts and chocolate sauce.
  8. Chocolate sauce:
  9. Blend all the ingredients in a blender until the sugar dissolves.
  10. Cook it over low heat for five minutes.
  11. Let the chocolate sauce cool slightly, then use it to decorate the pudding cake.
