Pudding Cake
Pudding cake — a very special, very easy no-bake dessert. Kids love it and the chocolate sauce on top enhances the flavor.

Ingredients
Start here, then move straight into the method.
- 2 1/2 cups milk
- 1 cup cream
- 16 milk biscuits (tea biscuits)
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon custard powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 tablespoon orange blossom water
- 1 tablespoon rose water
- Chocolate sauce
- Nuts: walnuts, almonds, or pistachios
- Chocolate sauce
- 1 cup cocoa powder
- 1 cup corn oil
- 1 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon instant coffee
Method
Follow the cooking sequence without leaving the page.
- In a pot, heat the milk and cream until warm, then remove from the heat and add the biscuits, stirring until they dissolve.
- Add the sugar and stir until it dissolves, then add the custard powder and the cornstarch and stir.
- Return the pot to the heat and stir until the mixture thickens.
- Add orange blossom water, rose water, and vanilla, and stir.
- Remove the pudding mixture from the heat and pour it into a cake mold.
- Let the mold cool aside, then refrigerate for six hours.
- Garnish the pudding cake with nuts and chocolate sauce.
- Chocolate sauce:
- Blend all the ingredients in a blender until the sugar dissolves.
- Cook it over low heat for five minutes.
- Let the chocolate sauce cool slightly, then use it to decorate the pudding cake.
