Curry chicken thighs... a very tasty recipe... serve with rice or potatoes, as you like!

Ingredients

  • Chicken thighs
  • Seasonings for boiling
  • Salt
  • Oil
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 5 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 cups chicken stock
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric
  • 2 teaspoons curry powder
  • 1 tablespoon flour

Method

  1. Rub the chicken with lemon and vinegar, then wash it with water and drain well.
  2. Boil it with the seasonings until cooked through.
  3. Keep the strained stock, free of the seasonings.
  4. Brush a baking tray with a little oil, place the chicken on it, and sprinkle with a little salt.
  5. Put it in a preheated oven at 200°C from the bottom for 20 minutes.
    Timers: 20 min
  6. Meanwhile, heat a little oil in a pan, sauté the chopped onion until softened, then add the minced garlic and stir until lightly golden.
  7. Add the chicken stock, salt, spices, and flour to the onion and garlic, then stir well until the flour dissolves and the mixture thickens.
  8. Pour the sauce over the chicken in the oven... and brown it from the top for 15 minutes.
    Timers: 15 min
  9. Serve the curry chicken thighs immediately with white rice.
