2 cups powdered milk + 1.5 liters water, or 6 cupsor1.5 liters, or 6 cups, liquid milk3 heaping tablespoons sugar2 heaping tablespoons starch1 teaspoon vanilla1 teaspoon mastic, optional1 1/2 cups coarse semolina1 tablespoon orange blossom water

Orange layer

2 cups orange juice2 heaping tablespoons sugar3 tablespoons starch

Qashta layer

2 large cans cream qashta

Garnish

Pistachios and orange blossomsSyrup for serving

Syrup

2 cups sugar1 cup water1 tablespoon lemon juice

Orange syrup

Orange blossomsOrange zest1 medium grated carrot1/4 cup orange juice1 cup syrup

How to make the syrup

First, make the usual syrup to take one cup from it later

Step 1

Put all the Layali Lubnan ingredients together except the semolina and orange blossom water... stir them cold, then place them in a pot over the heat, stirring constantly until they boil
