Anise Ka\'ak with Yellow Knot: an easy, delicious cookie

Ingredients:

2 kilograms flour

\r\n

1 1/2 cups vegetable oil

\r\n

3 tablespoons ghee

\r\n

3 cups granulated sugar

\r\n

2 cups toasted sesame seeds

\r\n

2 tablespoons yellow knot or turmeric

\r\n

2 1/2 tablespoons yeast

\r\n

1 cup anise seeds

\r\n

1 1/2 tablespoons caraway or ka\'ak spice

\r\n

1 1/2 tablespoons ground anise

\r\n

Warm water as needed

\r\n

2 cups powdered milk

\r\n \r\n \r\n

Method:

\r\n

Whisk the dry ingredients first.
Rub the ingredients well, then begin adding warm water gradually while continuing to rub.
You\'ll obtain a smooth dough.
Let the dough rest after covering, for about 8 hours.
After resting and fermenting, take a little dough and shape as desired.
The best is to form circular disks on the tray to get neat, tasty ka\'ak at the same time.
Leave the anise and yellow knot ka\'ak in the oven until done, about 12 minutes at 170°C. Do not leave it too long, or it will overcook.
Remove the ka\'ak from the oven and let cool completely before serving.
