Fettuccine Alfredo — one of the most requested pasta dishes on our site. Chicken, mushrooms, cheese and pasta combine into a harmonious, delicious flavor.

Ingredients:

Fettuccine pasta

2 onions, cut into wedges

Fresh or canned mushrooms

Chicken, cut (500 g / 1/2 kilo)

A pinch of salt

Black pepper, a pinch or 1/4 teaspoon

Garlic powder, 1/4 teaspoon

Milk (liquid), 1/2 cup

Cooking cream, 2 cups

Dried basil

Mozzarella cheese

Fresh basil for garnish

Preparation:

Sauté the onion wedges in olive oil, add the mushrooms and cook, stirring, until the onion softens.
Add the cut chicken, the spices and salt, and sauté until the chicken takes on a golden color.
Add the milk, cream, cheese and dried basil, and bring the mixture to a boil.
Once it boils, remove from the heat and pour over the pre-cooked, drained pasta, then mix.
Garnish the Fettuccine Alfredo with fresh basil or as desired and serve immediately.
