Nutella Chocolate Crown

Ingredients

Start here, then move straight into the method.

  • Nutella
  • Nesquik or sweet cocoa powder
  • Melted butter
  • Dough
  • 4 cups flour
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tbsp yeast
  • 1 cup warm water

Method

Follow the cooking sequence without leaving the page.

  1. Mix the yeast with the water and two teaspoons of sugar and leave them for ten minutes, then stir
  2. Melt the milk and butter over heat until the mixture warms without boiling
  3. Then mix all the ingredients — the flour, eggs, the hot butter-and-milk mixture, and the remaining sugar — with the yeast mixture and knead
  4. Cover the dough with a cloth and let it rest for one hour until it doubles in size
  5. After that time, roll out the dough on a surface lightly sprinkled with oil or flour .. roll it with a rolling pin into a rectangle and brush it with butter
  6. Spread Nutella over it with a sprinkle of Nesquik
  7. Roll the dough into a log then join the ends to form a circle
  8. Place the Nutella-filled dough in a buttered baking pan.. and cut the top with scissors to resemble a crown
  9. Bake the Nutella Chocolate Crown in the oven for 30 to 35 minutes at 180°C until golden

  10. Decorate the Nutella Chocolate Crown with powdered sugar or as desired
