Nutella chocolate crown — a pastry dessert that’s irresistible

Ingredients:

Nutella Nesquik or sweet cocoa powder Melted butter Dough: 4 cups flour 1/4 cup butter 1/2 cup milk 1/2 cup sugar 2 eggs 2 tbsp yeast 1 cup warm water

Method:

Mix the yeast with the warm water and 2 small teaspoons of sugar and leave for 10 minutes, then stir.
Melt the milk and butter over heat until warm (do not boil).
Combine the flour, eggs, the warm milk-and-butter mixture, the remaining sugar and the yeast mixture and knead into a dough.
Cover the dough with a cloth and let it rest for 1 hour until doubled in size. After resting, roll the dough on a surface lightly greased with oil or dusted with flour into a rectangle and brush with butter.
Spread Nutella over the dough and sprinkle with Nesquik.
Roll the dough into a log, then join the ends to form a ring.
Place the Nutella-filled ring on a buttered baking tray and make cuts on the top with scissors to shape it like a crown.
Bake the Nutella chocolate crown in a preheated oven at 180°C for 30–35 minutes until golden.
Decorate the crown with powdered sugar or as desired.
