Samoon Dough

1 kilo flour2 tablespoons sugar1 tablespoon yeastA pinch of saltAbout 3 cups warm milk (or as needed)Or an amount of powdered milk dissolved in the same amount of warm water1/4 cup oil1 egg2 tablespoons butter

We start by preparing the dough. Mix the dry ingredients, then add the oil and rub it into the dry ingredients a little before adding the egg and mixing well.Knead with warm milk until the dough becomes soft.Finally, add the butter and knead again until the dough is smooth.Cover the dough for 1 hour, or until it has risen well.

Fajita filling

Step 1

Cut the onion and pepper into strips. Put a very small amount of oil in a nonstick pan and saute the onion strips briefly only. Before they are fully cooked, add the green pepper, then the chopped carrot, and stir.
