Ingredients
- 4 cups flour
- 1 cup semolina
- 1 tablespoon instant yeast
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon turmeric
- A pinch of salt
- 2 tablespoons milk powder
- Warm water, as needed for the dough
- Special ka'ak spices (ka'ak duka)
- A pinch of anise
- Toasted sesame seeds
Method
- Mix the dry ingredients first.
- Add the oil and water, then knead well... The dough should remain sticky. Let it rest for about 2 hours.Timers: 120 min
