Ingredients
- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup fine semolina, or farina
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- Pinch of salt
- 1/2 cup water, or as needed for the dough

Method
- Combine the flour, semolina, and vanilla and mix well .. then add the oil and begin kneading... after that add the water gradually while kneading until the dough comes together
- Start forming the dough into balls and shape them on a sieve in the desired shape or as shown in the photo
- Heat the oil and begin frying the desserts until golden
- Remove the fried semolina pieces from the oil and place them directly into cold syrup for two hours
- Then lift the pieces from the syrup and drain them
- Serve them after decorating with pistachios or as desired
