Turkish Delight with Rose Flavor

- 1 1/4 cups fine starch
- 2 cups water
- 2 tablespoons orange blossom water
- 2 tablespoons rose water
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 2 tablespoons jelly powder (you can choose the flavor as desired)
Method
- Put all the ingredients except the orange blossom water and rose water in a deep saucepan over the heat.
- Stir constantly until the mixture starts to set and thickens slightly. Lower the heat and continue stirring for about 20 minutes.Timers: 20 min
- Add the orange blossom water and rose water at the end, then turn off the heat.
- Line a square or rectangular glass dish with parchment paper. Brush the paper with vegetable oil and sprinkle it with some starch.
- Spread the Turkish delight mixture over the parchment paper and sprinkle starch on top. Once the Turkish delight has cooled, place the dish in the refrigerator, not the freezer, for 2 hours.Timers: 120 min
- After the required time, remove the Turkish delight from the refrigerator and cut it as desired. Sprinkle with powdered sugar mixed with a little starch.
