Method

  1. Knead the flour with the remaining ingredients (start with two cups of flour, then add more as needed)... knead well until the dough forms
  2. Cover the dough and let it rest and rise
  3. Prepare the filling meanwhile... knead the dates with the butter and cinnamon and shape them into small fingers
  4. Dust a clean surface with flour... roll out the rested dough with a rolling pin until thin
  5. Cut the dough lengthwise to the width of the date fingers we shaped
  6. Place one date finger on the dough, roll the dough around it with a single turn and cut... seal the piece into a small rectangle or you can leave the finger as a small roll
  7. ...repeat the same method until the mixture is finished
  8. Place the date fingers on a baking tray without greasing it
  9. Put the tray in the middle of the oven at 180°C for 10 to 15 minutes depending on the oven strength until the pieces are golden
    Timers: 15 min
  10. Serve them cold at room temperature
