Spicy potatoes with cilantro and garlic... mmm, delicious.

Ingredients

  • Half a kilogram (500 g) potatoes, cut into slightly large cubes
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 5 garlic cloves
  • Half a bunch fresh cilantro
  • 1 teaspoon hot pepper paste (chili paste)

Method

  1. Deep-fry the potato cubes in plenty of oil, then drain off the oil.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, add the olive oil and crushed garlic and sauté until the garlic softens.
  3. Add the chopped cilantro and stir, then add the previously fried potatoes.
  4. Add salt and the hot pepper paste, toss to combine, then remove from the heat and serve.
