Roast chicken... the name alone makes us crave chicken :) The dish isn’t complete without potatoes, the chicken’s eternal twin :)

Chicken thighs

Potatoes, cut into cubes

Bay leaves

1/3 cup vinegar

3 tablespoons ketchup

1/3 cup plain yogurt

2 tablespoons honey

1/3 cup oil

1 teaspoon cinnamon

White pepper

Oregano

Garlic powder

Onion powder

Paprika

A generous spoon of crushed garlic

Salt

A little water

Clean the chicken, wash it and drain well.
Mix all the marinade ingredients. Using a knife, make small cuts in the thighs so the chicken absorbs the marinade and cooks faster and more thoroughly.
Soak the chicken in the marinade — preferably leave it to marinate overnight, or at least for 2 hours.
For roasting: place the chicken in a baking tray, add the cubed potatoes, and put the tray in the oven until the chicken is cooked through and nicely browned.
