Preparation Method:

In a pot over the heat, fry the beef pieces in oil or ghee with one onion cut into quarters and two cloves of garlic....

When the beef has taken on some color, add the aromatics: bay leaf, cinnamon stick, and cardamom pods, then cover it with water and leave it on the heat until cooked.
