Ingredients
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 cup oil
- 1 1/2 tablespoons baking powder
- A pinch of salt
- 1 large orange, peeled—remove only the top and bottom ends (if the orange isn't large, use 1½ oranges, removing the ends)

Method
- Cut the orange (with its peel) into medium pieces and place them in the blender. Then add the eggs, sugar, oil, and salt to the blender and blend until everything is pureed and well combined.
- Begin adding the flour and baking powder and mix until all the flour is incorporated.
- If the blender is small, transfer and fold the mixture with the flour in a separate bowl until well combined.
- Pour the orange cake batter into a buttered and floured pan.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) on the middle rack for 45 minutes.Timers: 45 min
- Let the cake cool to room temperature before serving
