Oatmeal-chocolate bars — a wonderful, healthy and satisfying treat!
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup peanut butter (or substitute almond butter)
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup coconut oil (or substitute butter)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- Pinch of salt
- 2 cups oats
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder (chocolate powder)
- Raisins (or any dried fruit substitute)
- Pistachios (or any chopped nuts)

Method
- Toast the oats lightly in a pan, then mix them well with the salt and cocoa powder.
- In another bowl, combine the honey, peanut butter and coconut oil and heat in the microwave to melt them.
- Stir the melted mixture, then pour it over the oats.
- Mix everything well, then add the raisins and pistachios and stir again.
- Line a rectangular pan with a bag or parchment, sprinkle crushed pistachios on the base, pour in the oat mixture, close the bag/parchment and press down firmly with another rectangular pan.
- Chill in the refrigerator (not the freezer) for about two hours, then cut into small rectangles.
