Ingredients

  • 4 eggs
  • A pinch of vanilla
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 1 1/4 cups flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1 cup cocoa

Method

  1. First, start by whisking the eggs with the vanilla...
  2. Add the sugar and continue beating in the electric mixer, then add the vegetable oil...
  3. Begin adding the flour alternately with the baking powder and continue beating.
  4. Add the cocoa as well and continue beating. Meanwhile, toast the walnuts on the side in a nonstick pan with a tablespoon of flour.
  5. Add the toasted walnuts over the mixture.
  6. Pour the cake batter into an oven dish greased with a little tahini.
  7. Place the cake pan in a preheated oven for about 40 minutes, or until the brownies are fully cooked... It is important to bake the cake for the right temperature and time for each oven and each pan, depending on the pan size and depth and the oven strength.
    Timers: 40 min
  8. Serve the hot brownies with vanilla ice cream and fresh fruit (as desired)
  9. Note: You can add 1/2 cup orange juice to the ingredients for a slightly softer texture. If you prefer firmer brownies, it is better to stick to the ingredients above only.
