Ingredients
Start here, then move straight into the method.
- First layer
- 2 cups liquid milk
- 1/2 cup semolina
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon vanilla or 1 teaspoon orange blossom water
- Second layer
- A packet of biscuits dipped in the milk
- Third layer
- 1 can clotted cream (Qimeer) or thick cream
- 2 tablespoons Nutella
- Decoration
- Crumbled biscuits or pistachios

Method
Follow the cooking sequence without leaving the page.
- Put all the ingredients for the first layer on the heat and stir until the mixture thickens and boils
- Pour the first layer into a Pyrex dish or baking pan
- Prepare the second layer: arrange the biscuits (after dipping them in milk) over the first layer
- Mix the ingredients for the third layer cold
- Spread the mixture over the top
- Chill the Layali Lubnan with Nutella in the refrigerator for at least two hours before serving
- Garnish the dessert with biscuits or pistachios
