Kishk mix for manakish... very tasty with precise measurements to get the best kishk topping

Ingredients

  • 1 cup powdered kishk
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste
  • Sesame seeds
  • 1 medium tomato, grated
  • 1 medium onion, grated
  • 1/4 cup water

Method

  1. Mix all the seasoning ingredients — the kishk mix for manakish
  2. Spread the mixture over the prepared dough discs
  3. Lightly oil a baking tray and place the manakish on it
  4. Place the tray on the middle rack of a preheated oven and bake with top and bottom heat at 180°C until cooked and golden
