Jello with biscuits and whipped cream on top is one of those light, creative desserts. A simple addition to jello turns it into a favorite treat when you want something quick and refreshing. It is also a great dessert for birthdays.
Ingredients
- 2 packets plain biscuits
- 2 packets strawberry-flavored jello
- 1 packet powdered whipped cream / or 1 carton liquid whipping cream, as desired
- 1 container clotted cream
Method
- Prepare the jello as directed on the package. Pour it into a tray or divide it among cups, as desired. Fill the container with jello only halfway.
- Add a little cold milk or water to the cream powder (use the amount of liquid listed on the package) and whip the cream. Stop whipping as soon as the cream forms.
- Add the container of clotted cream to the whipped cream and beat for a few seconds until combined.
- After a few hours, once the jello has set, add a layer of biscuits, then a layer of the cold whipped cream.
- Decorate the top with crushed biscuits and refrigerate the jello with biscuits and cream long enough to chill and firm up.
