Recipe story

Ice cream sandwiches made with plain biscuits ... we can make them with just a few ingredients and they will not cost much, with super special results

Ingredients

  • Plain biscuits or chocolate biscuits
  • 1 cup very cold liquid milk
  • 1 cup milk powder
  • 2 packets whipping cream powder
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk, 400 g

Method

  1. Mix all the ingredients, meaning the liquid milk, powdered milk, condensed milk, and whipping cream powder. Whisk them with an electric mixer or by hand.
  2. Prepare a flat dish or Pyrex dish and arrange the biscuits in a single layer side by side until they completely cover the bottom of the Pyrex dish.
  3. Then spread the ice cream mixture over the biscuits and smooth it out. Add a second layer of biscuits, making sure the top layer is perfectly aligned with the bottom one so you get neat pieces and do not break the biscuits when cutting.
  4. Place the Pyrex dish in the freezer for a full day, then cut into sandwich shapes when serving.
  5. Note: You can add any flavor you like to the ice cream, for example 2 tablespoons ground pistachios, 1 teaspoon ground mastic, or 1 teaspoon vanilla, or leave it plain as we made it in this recipe. It is up to you.
  6. Also from Fatima, here is the Vanilla and Chocolate Ice Cream
  7. You can make Yogurt and Jelly Ice Cream from Fatima too, with just two ingredients
