Ingredients:

2 cups peeled fava beans 2 cups chickpeas 1 tablespoon falafel spice 1 teaspoon dried coriander 1 tablespoon baking soda Salt 1 teaspoon baking powder 1 medium dried onion 5 cloves garlic A small amount of green marjoram A small amount of fresh coriander

Preparation method:

Place the fava beans and chickpeas in a deep bowl of water and leave them to soak overnight.

Peel the chickpeas; this is one of the secrets to making delicious falafel.

Grind the fava beans and chickpeas until smooth.

Grind the onion with the garlic, fresh coriander, and marjoram, with a pinch of salt.
